Continuing on from Part 3 I'll explain some of the minor mods to my case and an issue I had with spray paint.
Tidying up and Final Case Mods:
Because the bottom tray of the case is sagging since removing the bottom drive cage I've had to manufacture a support. I've made this out of some aluminium strap I had lying around in the garage; I'm a bit of a hoarder and it's amazing what rubbish I keep thinking "one day that'll come in handy".

Bracket in place - needs black spray |
Where I removed the 5.25 tool less drive bay fixings it left exposed metal, this looks a bit unsightly so I got a local car spray supplier to mix me up a can of spray paint using the removed lower drive tray as a colour sample.
The usual process, rub down, prime and then spray with top coat, I'm also spraying the bottom tray support and a couple of PCI single slot brackets for the graphics cards.

Primed and ready for top coat, but oh no when I remove all of the masking it's the wrong colour.

I took this picture back to the car spray supplier and he mixed me up another can of spray free of charge. With the new colour applied it looks perfect. You can also see here the access to the pump speed adjusters.

And the PCI backplates and tray support with a top coat.

That's probably the extent of my case modding on this project, as I said, I didn't want to alter the case too much. Next step is onto messing about with fans and radiators, I want to daisy chain and then test the radiator fans.
